'Introducing.....'

A collection of short dance performances created by Swan Theatre Dancer in Residence, Jodie Roberts.

This performance evolves from an education project, involving groups from local secondary schools.

For the last year Jodie has been working in schools with predominantly male groups as well as mxed groups. The aim is to increase participation in dance and to perform these dance works at the Swan Theatre; this has given the students the incentive to become creative and to have a sense of what it is like to be a performing artist in a profesional atmosphere.

The performance also features pieces from Jodie herself and 2faced (youth).

This website is an initiative by Worcestershire Dance Promoters; a consortium of arts organisations all interested in promoting participation in and attendance of dance. WDP was established in 2005 by the following partners:
