“Audience friendly… gorgeous performers in a programme of adventures”

Sunday Express

After a record-breaking season in London last year, Rambert Dance Company returns to Malvern with a brand new programme, bringing the very best of British and world-class talent to its audience.

From the beautiful and lyrical to the powerful and energetic, the Company returns with a programme of diverse works, including Mark Baldwin’s powerful Eternal Light, commissioned by Sadler’s Wells and set to a brand new score by Howard Goodall, played and sung live. The performance also features a dramatic revival of Christopher Bruce’s outstanding and hugely popular Swansong that brings audiences to their feet, plus three exciting short works created by some of Rambert’s own talented young dancer/choreographers.

Rambert’s 22 dancers are considered to be some of the finest and most versatile in the world, performing a wide range of styles with precision and flair. The Company believes in the power of live music to enrich the senses and is the only modern dance company to permanently tour with an orchestra. London Musici, celebrating its 20th anniversary this year, superbly enhances the Rambert experience.

Pre-performance talk: Thursday 20 November, 6.30pm
